| [ Cartoner ] |
|
| A small carton packing machine. Used to pack the contents in a small
carton made of corrugated cardboard or plastic.
Depending on the form of box used, machines are classified into
the sack box type, which feeds the contents into an unfinished cylindrical
package and then seals it; and the blank sheet type, which stacks
the contents onto one-piece sheets and then forms the package by
wrapping the contents into the sheet. Depending on which direction
the contents are fed, machines can be divided into vertical cartoners,
which feeds contents in an upward direction, and horizontal cartoners,
which feeds the contents sideways.
Quite a number of goods that you run across at stores have been
packed in small containers using a cartoner.

These types include:

with corrugated cardboard).
* Wraparound type, which assembles a corrugated cardboard case
